From Wednesday SAWS will cease to exist, from the 1st January 2014, the restrictions that had been imposed on Bulgarian and Romanian nationals will be lifted and individuals from these countries will be free to take up what ever work they wish.

Q: Can I get a job if I am from outside the EU?
A: Well it depends, we cannot help people to get work permits, if you have access to a visa that allows you to work in the UK and you can obtain this visa then we can put you forward for work.
Q: Can I get a job if I am a student in the UK?
A: If you are from an EU country then yes you can get a job whilst you are a student in the UK. If you are not from the EU but you study in the UK and the institution you are attending is on the Register of Education and Training Providers and you meet the relevant immigration criteria then you may be able to work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full time in holidays.
Q: Am I guaranteed to get a job?
A: Sorry but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to find you a job, we will do our best but circumstances may mean that we cannot help you at a particular time.
Q: Can you get me a visa for the UK?
A: We are unable to obtain a visa for you to enter the UK.
