From Wednesday SAWS will cease to exist, from the 1st January 2014, the restrictions that had been imposed on Bulgarian and Romanian nationals will be lifted and individuals from these countries will be free to take up what ever work they wish.

VINEYARDS
The UK wine industry is now recognised as a premium wine-producing region, with English and Welsh wines winning many prestigious international awards. There are over 400 vineyards in England and Wales covering some 3,500 acres and producing sparkling and still wines.
The growth in UK hectarage has been unprecedented, with a remarkable rise of 60% in just 5 years. 2011 production exceeded 3 million bottles, but this was down on 2010 which had much higher yields.
Sparkling wine is the Cinderella story of the UK wine industry, receiving accolades and appreciation to rival its French competitors, but there is much more to the UK industry than just bubbles.
The UK season provides work throughout the year, often for short periods of time.
