A large farming business in Ireland (near Dublin) is looking for a senior spray operator, ideally with Polish language skills (working with Poles in the existing team).
Job is available to start now and is permanent, salary will depend on experience.

Key Tasks
- Spray Crops on time and effectively
- Comply with Government legislation
Responsibilities and duties
- Spray crops using various equipment
- Be able to drive various tractors and purpose built Machines
- Be prepared to sometimes start early (During peak season)
- Be prepared to sometimes work weekends (During peak season)
- Be prepared to work some evenings (During peak season)
- Manage a small team of around 4 Foreign Operators
- Keep stock control of chemical and fertilizer store
- Be able to carry daily maintenance of machinery
- Record and schedule servicing of Machinery
- Be able to calibrate sprayers
- Understand the importance of harvest intervals
- Keep accurate records of spray applications (knowledge of Muddy Boots software would be useful)
- Basic skills in daily repairs
Performance Measurement
- Crops are free from diseases and pests
- Machinery is Maintained
- Records are kept up to date/traceability
Requirements for the Role
- Must be able to speak and read English,
- Experience with agro-chemical application,
- Spraying Certified would eb an advantage,
- Agricultural diploma or degree would be an advantage,
- Polish language an advantage,
- Computer literate,
